Inspirations
Liturgical Designs is a company committed to making fine liturgical vestments. We
offer you the opportunity to enhance your liturgies with unique, hand made vestments. In the making
of a chasuble, 100% wool, wool blend and silks are used. They can also be made using 100%
polyester, putting them in a lower price range. The wools used are lightweight and allow
for the natural flow of the fabric. Natural fibers breathe and do not retain the body
heat. Silks add richness to the garment through their textures and dupioni silk has the
ability to emit various shades in the movement of the garment. A variety of metallic gold
or silver braids are used for trims and brocades or tapestries for accents.
The featured chasuble was designed for a
Monsignor in Rome. The oil paintings on the chasuble were replicas of the mosaics on the
dome of his parish church.
With vestments made for many parishes, priest
and bishops, you may recognize some of these designs in our catalog. These are just a
sampling of some of the vestments we have made over the years. As always, Inspirations
Liturgical Designs is available for any comments or requests that you might have. Photos
and fabric swatches can be sent and a price determined after the design, fabric and trim
is decided upon.
So now, we bring to you our work. |
